Ashburn Sauce Company maintains a 5,000 square foot production facility located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In 2014, the Ashburn facility took the next step forward by converting to a predominately fully automated line. With the new automated line, it allows the company to meet the ever-growing demand from high-volume customers, like Virginia ABC (Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control) and Sysco.
The facility houses a private test kitchen to accommodate the product test batches created daily, an integral part of the production process. The FDA and Department of Agriculture require that all manufacturers test their product prior to submitting for final analysis by the process authority, a mandatory step in the production process.
In the event that additional testing is required, Ashburn Sauce Company works closely with several independent labs, universities and other testing facilities to meet any specific requirements set forth by the process authority.
